I would recommend an Azumi made by Altus.
It has an Altus 'Z' ut head joint, made out of Britannia Silver. Which has higher silver content than Sterling. It is available in two models. One with Britannia head joint and silver plated body. The other is solid Britannia and has Altus's professional SP-1 springs, made of platinum alloys.
I have compared this flutes with all other intermediate brands. Sonare, Lyric, Yamaha, Amadeus, Gemeinhardt and Emerson, just to name a few. The Azumi sounds and plays like a professional flute.
I currently own one and I love it.
